My DeK

Bored with Power Point? Want to create winning presentations in a new way? Here's the training offered by the Henry K.M. de Kuyper Education Centre  "Learn Prezi" that will take place on June 28th at 12 pm in D6-257, MGH.

This session on basic Prezi skills includes everything you need to know to make your first Prezi: how to add text, images, videos, frames, and a path. We comprehensively take you through everything the interface can do, and have attendees work hands-on throughout the session. In addition, you will learn how to choose the right license type, change colors and fonts, insert shapes, and print a prezi.

Angelie Agarwal, our instructor, is uniquely qualified to conduct Prezi training, as she was Prezi's Chief Evangelist for more than 2 years. In her time at Prezi, she developed and launched their successful "Get Started" webinar, and created the content for the Prezi. She remains closely connected to the Prezi team and stays on top of the latest product releases, features, tips, and tricks. Angelie has a passion for teaching, and honed her skills serving as site director for the Princeton Review and as a graduate-level instructor at the University of California, Irvine and Stanford University.

Due to the limited number of the places in the deK we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as the attendees' list will close as it reaches the limit.

This webinar is mainly for the laptop users but we have 3 MAC desktops (first come first serve terms of usage). Please bring your own laptops and come 10 minutes in advance to set up local Internet connection. Make sure you the laptop battery is fully charged or bring cable.

The duration of the training is one hour. You will be able to contact the instructor for any questions one week after it as well.
